RULES & REGULATIONS
ADMISSION POLICY AND REGULATIONS:
Lost or stolen tickets will not be reissued. All tickets are non-refundable. Rain or shine.
By entering the festival grounds, you are agreeing to be photographed or filmed.
All attendees will be searched upon entering the festival grounds. Management reserves the sole right to determine safety hazards. If prohibited or offensive items are found, guests may return them to their vehicle or surrender to Security without return. If drugs are found, they will not be returned and you will be subject to prosecution.
Prohibited items: Tents, instruments, knives or other weapons, selfie sticks, food, beverages (Other than permitted), drugs or pets (service animals allowed), large purses, camera bags, cinch bags, drones, glass, laser pens and fireworks.
Permitted items: Bags made of clear plastic, clear vinyl or clear PVC, which do not exceed 13”x17” in size (this includes clear backpacks under 13”x17”), one gallon clear zip top bag, small clutch bags (approximately the size of a hand either with or without a handle/strap), small fanny pack(s) or similar waist-packs, camelbacks and personal hydration systems are allowed but must be empty, factory sealed water bottles and/or a non glass, empty water container, blankets, small personal bags and souvenirs purchased at the festival.
Bags, Backpacks and Purses: For security purposes, only small personal bags (purses, baby or diaper bags, etc.) will be permitted inside Black Diamond Music and Arts Festival and will be subject to search at all entrances. Large bags, coolers, backpacks, and sealed packages (including gifts for performers) of any kind are not permitted.
All children under 12 prohibited in main stage area on the asphalt. All children welcome on lawn.
ALOCHOL POLICY:
Alcohol may be consumed only within the designated alcohol perimeter of festival grounds.
SAFETY RULES AND POLICY:
Please respect Hocking College facility. If you are caught littering or vandalizing, you will be subject to prosecution. Our security team is present to make this concert experience safe and fun for everyone; kindly cooperate. If you are asked to leave the premise by security or event team member, you must do so and your ticket becomes void. Feel free to stroll around the campus. Be respectful and courteous of the property and those around you.
FIREARMS AND WEAPONS:
The safety and security of our guests and staff is extremely important to us. Our Firearms and Weapons Policy is designed for the protection of our guests, vendors, staff, and owners, and pertains to the presence of firearms and weapons on campus premises. Hocking College and the Black Diamond Music and Arts Festival recognize that only law enforcement may legally possess firearms or weapons on the property for a variety of legitimate purposes. Designated festival on-duty law enforcement that are required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties are permitted to do so. This policy has been developed to create a safe environment by providing appropriate guidance over the custody of firearms and weapons on our premises appropriate for this venue as such.
100% SMOKE-FREE FACILITY:
For health and fire safety reasons and to assure that our facility is not exposed to items or actions that create an odor which is unhealthy and objectionable to our guests and staff, and that is difficult to remove from the air, carpet, walls, and furniture or that could result in physical damage or harm to property or persons, we do not permit smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing the liquid of nicotine, hookahs, incense, cooking, cigars, candle burning, the use or diffusing of patchouli oil or other strong-smelling plant-based essential oils or synthetic products in our facility.
Guests are encouraged to notify staff immediately if they smell cigarette, marijuana, or other objectionable odors. This policy is not intended to stop people from smoking, but to regulate where they smoke and how it affects others. A Designated Smoking Area is provided outside and away from the building. Marijuana is prohibited at all times.
HORSES:
Please do not feed the horses or enter any animal enclosures. You will be asked to leave the festival immediately and you will automatically forfeit your ticket right.
LOST & FOUND POLICY:
Hocking College assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately (740)753-3591 and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.
Lost & Found items are held for fourteen (14) days while we attempt to contact the guest. If guest contact information is incorrect or cell phone mailbox is full and we are unable to contact the guest during the fourteen (14) day holding period, the unclaimed item(s) are thrown away, given to local organizations, or disposed of accordingly by Hocking College.
